Y ylp88 Senior Member Jun 24, 2008 #2 Which version of Programming Editor are you using? According to the revision history, version 5.1.5 "updated 14M firmware compiler error messages". I'm running 5.2.0 and don't have any problems in the sytax check for the code ssample you provided. ylp88

If you are unsure, have a look at menu VIEW / OPTIONS Josh, Believe you are confusing the 14M (whihch has Input 3 and output 3) with the 08M where IO pin3 is only usable as an input.
