Tunes on 08-M2

Pinout for the 08m2 says Tune is only available on pin c.2

would a tune play through a buzzer connected to C.4? It certainly seems to work in simulations.

No, tune does only output sound on pin C.2. You are probably seeing LED activity on pin C.4. What's the format of the TUNE command you are using ?

just a standard one.
will have to redesign the circuit board now. was hoping to avoid a jump wire but doesnt look like its possible. hey ho

The thing is TUNE has three separate formats -

TUNE pin, speed, (note, note, note...)
TUNE pin, speed, LED_mask, (note, note, note...) - M2 parts only
TUNE LED_option, speed, (note, note, note...) - 8-pin parts only

If you used the first but are running it on an 08M2 then what you thought was the pin may be setting the LED_option.
