As it is today only COM-ports 1-10 MUST be used for the PICAXE.
Is it not possible to implement a 'drop-down' box showing COM-port 1-255, as my available COM-ports is 17-18.
No I cannot change it in XP, because I don't have the Admin-rights to do this.
No I cannot use USB->COM converter as i requires a driver installation, and that also requires admin-rights.
