A surfeit of SiPo.
I've been reading recent threads regarding 74HC595 chips,
so I thought I'd have a play.
Couldn't find any in the junk-box, and I'm impatient,
so I found an English ebay supplier.
Ordered yesterday (Mon) at 3.00 pm.
They arrived this morning (Tues) at 10.30.
First class recorded delivery. 25 chips for £6.97, including postage. Amazing!
I've just got a shovel, and stirred the junk-box.
Two 595's floated to the top!
Short of building an airport lighting system, I can't think of a use for
81 inputs and 216 outputs.
Bottom line. Anyone in GB need a 74HC595?
