hippy Ex-Staff (retired) Apr 26, 2016 #2 Check File -> Options -> Compiler and that the "Use pre-processor" option is ticked. If it is, then please can you post an actual example of code which gives the syntax error then we can analyse the issue you are having. It works when we test it.
