Screw Terminals

Random question: I'm going to get a CHI035 power board. I wanted some screw terminal blocks to solder on there. I'm looking at these but was worried that the studs would be too fat for the holes in the board. The drill drawing suggests 1.3mm holes, and that's either just right or just a little too big.

Plus I think that's the "knife gate" style, which is great until your wire breaks off and nothing's working all of a sudden :p

What do other people use? Terminal blocks add cost quickly if you pick the wrong one!

The CHI035 is designed for 5mm, 16A terminal blocks and so these should be fine. Instructions on how to connect them are in the CHI035 datasheet.

Eclectic, is that a double decker you've got going on there? Does the Picaxe like heights? :p

:)

No, it's an 18 hole Turned Pin Socket.

After once ripping a leg, when changing chips,

now ALL my Picaxes live in TPS.
