Replace all

I've always found the replace feature a bit annoying. A typical thing is where I decide to rename a variable from , say, "Result" to "ResultW"

I select the 'all' option on the find/replace window then hit replace repeatedly. The trouble is once it's replaced Result by ResultW it carries on, giving ResultWWWWWWWW..... if I click enough times while I'm looking out the window!!!

Actually a tip I've got is that it's easy to spot when this is going to happen, so a trick is to first replace by some obscure word, such as 'toast' then replace toast with ResultW !! (as long as it's not code for a toaster!)

But it would be nice if there was a 'replace all' button that just did the whole lot in one go.

In my view, you should only have to hit Replace All once.

Plenty of other software does this.
