Proto, what is it you are actually tying to do??
you say "to get the values from the xbox 360 controller trigger pots", trigger pots? is it the control sticks you are trying to read or the fire button, if you are still trying to do a rapid fire system, have a look at this >

as mentioned in the linked thread there is more than 1 version of xbox controller
if not, as many previous have said let us in on a bit more info.... what.. why.. etc. someone may even suggest a different way of doing what you are trying to achieve
Dippy, Tsk Tsk, fancy you buying a crystal ball from Ebay, surely your old one warned you against that before it exploded by being too near to your modded infinate probability hyper drive. (Or maybe take it inside, the cloudiness may just be a reflection of the sky)

Glad to hear the new one has SD card. Just need to remember to check the card when you forget why you were using it!
