PE6 Simulation Panel Query

Probably me be thick, but I have looked everywhere on the site for an answer to this and can't find it.

On the simulation panel, when running a program the pins shown on the device can be either clear, light grey, dark grey, yellow or green. What exactly does each colour signify for the pin status? I am getting a pin going green (output enabled I assume), but then going yellow and I am not sure what this is signifying. I know I can check the status with either a DVM or scope on a breadboarded model, but I would just like to know for my own satisfaction.

If I am being thick please tell me, I don't offend easily, I've been insulted by experts.

The colours can actually be changed to match real life boards, but the default settings are:

Output, low = dark grey, high = green
Input, low = light grey, high = yellow

Not an i/o (e.g. V+ or 0V) and so not relevant to simulation = clear

Remember pins can be changed from input to output and vice versa by various commands, so green going yellow means you have an output pin that you are converting to input.
