I want to attach a .pdf datasheet. Upload tells me that "file xxx upload FAILED". Have scanned file with Kaspersky Anti-Virus, it is clean. What would cause this failure to upload ?

Oh no, not Kaspersky ... :)

Who on earth is he/she/they ?

Anyway, personal question: how big is your pdf?

And is Gary Glitter a pdf file?

I've been having this woe in recent days too, with the intended attachment declined as "not a valid image file". My uploads are just modest .jpgs (~100k). Stan

See me thread re: Stepper Motor. Converted to .jpg which I was told "is not a valid image file.."

Dippy: WTH is Gary Glitter ? "Kaspersky" is the anti-virus that I was told is so good its unbelievable....... maybe ?????? A-squared worked well in the past with much faster updates.....
EDIT:

"..so good its unbelievable"
- I don't believe it :)

I've just tried a pdf upload both large and small and it failed for me too.

And I tried a valid 30Kb .jpg and it said "This is not a valid image file".
(Actually it was a picture of ME! say no more.)

Could be a job for technical?

Glad it's a global woe! If it's any help I found my failed .jpg upload was accepted OK some hours later.

You're close Dippy. It was a map of Australia = almost a breadboard I guess!
