I have studied some of TI/National's audio offerings for a while.
They are very interesting, but they seem to come exclusively in MicroSMD, SQ or QFN packages, which are exceedingly difficult for the average hobbyist to solder.

Sounds like (pun intended) a wonderful device.

However, a 36-pin device that is ~3mm square? That's beyond what I can solder, unless I can use my gas torch.
