How much PICAXE programming have you done in the past? Maybe if you let people know exactly where you are having a specific problem then people here will better know how to help you.

M manuka Senior Member Nov 20, 2009 #3 Shepo: Desperate? An 18X? We support learn by doing on this forum. The humble PICAXE-08M redefined 38 kHz IR datacomms, so suggest you give an 08M a whirl - it's inbuilt commands easily handle both IR sending & receiving.
