HPWM current capacity

I have accidentally shorted picaxe outputs to ground in the past and no damage was done but I got a new 20X2 and accidentally touched an active HPWM output to ground with a scope probe ground clip and it appears pin B.4 has shorted to V+ and 0V internally.

What is the current capacity for HPWM outputs?

What is the current capacity for HPWM outputs?

My understanding is it is exactly the same as for any other I/O pins; so that would normally be 20mA, 25mA maximum.

It might be worth testing a short TOGGLE B.4 loop to see if the pin is still working if you haven't already..

I cant power it on because the power pins are shorted via the internal HPWM driver circuitry.

V+ to 0V is 6.5 ohms.
