High Frequency generator

Hi there!

I am new to this forum, and PICAXE's too, so please bear with me. I am interested in having an 08M produce a high frequency at one of the output pins. What I want is the pin toggling on and off at around 17kHz. Is it possible to do this with a PICAXE?

Sorry if this has been asked before, I did a few searches but couldn't turn up anything.

Programming Editor >> PICAXE >>Wizards >> pwmout.

And also do a Forum search for pwmout

Incidentally, how fast would an 08M be able to oscillate an output like this?

Have a play with the wizard, preferably connected to
a 'scope.
And "top speed"?
