Graphical LCDs

Has anyone had any experience with using a graphical LCD with a PICAXE, either parallel, serial or I2C? Also, does anyone know of serial or I2c Daughterboardsfor GLCDs?

I have used a serial display: <A href='http://www.rev-ed.co.uk/picaxe/forum/Topic.asp?topic_id=2820&amp;forum_id=17&amp;Topic_Title=Graphic%2BDisplay&amp;forum_title=No+new+posts+please%21+11' Target=_Blank>External Web Link</a>
There is also this description of using a Phone's screen: <A href='http://www.rev-ed.co.uk/picaxe/forum/Topic.asp?topic_id=2878&amp;forum_id=17&amp;Topic_Title=nokia%2B3310%2Bdisplay%2Bfrom%2BPICAXE%2B18X%253B%2Bit%2Bworks%2521%25&amp;forum_title=No+new+posts+please%21+11' Target=_Blank>External Web Link</a>
I hope these help.

Check out: <A href='http://www.computronics.com.au/ampire/ad11264/' Target=_Blank>External Web Link</a>.

Apparently it has both a parallel AND serial (2-wire: data and clock) interface and is around the same price as a 16x2 character LCD!
