GPS Tracker

Hi,
I have bought a GLOBALSAT BT359C RECEIVER mainly because I can use it with my phone for Sat-Nav but is it possible to use this with a module to create a tracker? I was also wondering how this works, as im sure there are millions of GPS trackers out there, how can one connect to these and find the location, is this possible with what I've bought? If not what equipment do I need to buy?

George- this is indeed a vast field! Initially read about VHF ham radio ARPS => http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Automatic_Position_Reporting_System Stan (ZL2APS)

You'll need to find a product that can communicate using the BlueTooth Serial Port Profile.
Once you find that, then I don't see why not. Good luck.
