In regards to code examples, I think it's pretty much what you've been doing with your other picaxes. There's a nice breadboard+code (using 20m tho but will pretty much show the usage of the M family) posted by Stan here on this forums. A quick search will return it. Search for "seven segment displays" posted by the user "Manuka"
What are you trying to do? Basically everything is on the manual, but I'd be happy to send some sample codes if you want.
