While the 08Ms work quite well, I do not succeed in downloading software from PC to 18X.
Please, note that the adpater (USB -> Serial, Prolific) is the same in both the above cases.
When I try to download with 18X , the progress bar starts but it stops after some
moments and I get the message "Serial port error: code 0x9 not included in the interval".
The port used is COM5.
My PC is a IBM ThinkPad R50p and it works with Windows Xp. The Picaxe Editor is
the version 5.0.7
The board is designed following the rules of the Manual, of course, resistors included. All was checked carefully.
