editor cut and paste

I use ctrl+ins and shift+ins to cut and paste but these do not work in the editor. I have to use ctrl+c and ctrl+v instead.

Well ctrl+c and ctrl+v ARE the 'standard' short-cuts used by 99.999% of all things - even my 7 year old psion.

Ive been using ctrl+ins for more than seven years, my fingers just go there automatically. I think ctrl+ins works on most things too. Perhaps i'm the .00001%

I've been using Highlight --> SHIFT DEL/INS for years and I notice it works when the editor is set to ASCII but NOT when it's set to color...
