Hi,
I suspect the answer to this is no.... but can anyone confirm -
I'm running 28X2's at 40 MHz and need some serout's at the standard bauds. I currently drop down to setfreq = m8 to get T9600_8 which is the best I can get with the internal 8MHz resonator.
Are there any T*_40 serout baud options - or are they only available for the multiple of 4 speeds...4, 8, 16, 32 etc MHz?
For info hserout is already in use so I'm stuck with serout.
Thanks
Ian
NB I don't know if this is of general interest but experimenting with the hardware serial speeds I found my 28X2's run quite happily with 2-way hserial comms at 460800 baud. OS is Vista and using your USB cable (FTDI driver seems to happily accept the higher baud settings and all sorts of strange intermediate values). Interesting thing is the USB connection to the PC is via an USB extension cable and cheap 4 port USB hub so the fast comms don't seem too sensitive to moderate cable lengths.
