I've ben using my BAS800 pic programmer over the last few days without problem on 16F88 (Ex Picaxe 18X) chip.
This morning though with the same chip I used yesterday it says not found!!
Tried another known good 18X chip and can't find that either.
Software is working and communicating with programmer.
What's gone wrong since yesterday?
