I was wondering if I could power an 18M2 and the AXE133 OLED display from the same 5 V 78L05 regulator with a 7 V supply. The 78L05 can output about 100 mA. Is that enough?
According to the Winstar datasheet, the typical current draw is 30mA. So 100mA would be enough. PICAXEs, when running, consume very little current in comparison so you'd be able to safely have your 18M2 and master PICAXE too.
