It's a cut-down version of a Pro CAD. A couple of things annoy me a bit, but it is very stable. ~10Megs for the executable I think.
And, yes, another learning curve for you. I use a slightly differnet version and it has proved very stable. And if you part with oodles of money you can speak to a human when you get stuck instead of waiting days for an email/forum reply.
