A pre-emptive request to include information in the manuals on the potential need to refresh internal Data Eeprom on the 28X2/40X2 ( and any other 18F-based PICAXE devices ) to avoid corrupt Data Eeprom contents.
The issue is covered here <A href='http://www.embeddedrelated.com/groups/piclist/show/9156.php' Target=_Blank>External Web Link</a> and saves me re-iterating the same, and the data sheet I have for the 18F2440 suggests it will affect the 28X2/40X2.
The D124 rating states that Data Eeprom should be refreshed after every 1 million WRITE's, so it's not likely to be a problem for most people, but it's probably worthwhile explaining the situation.
