20x2 problem downloading with enhanced serial download circuit

Hi,

I built the "enhanced serial download circuit" (connected to a RS232 port) (manual 1 pg 38) to use with my 18x picaxe, and always worked well.
today I tried the 20x2 picaxe with the same cable and i and I can not make a single download.

what could be wrong?

Good effort Hugo, alot of people never post back saying what the problem was when advice was given.

That's what many call "Sod's Law", that as soon as you post about a problem the reason for the problem becomes blindingly obvious. Writing it down often triggers some subconscious thought which surfaces just after you click the 'post' button.
