Hi,

Quick question. I know the serial out on the 08 M2 can be used as an output. Can the serial in be used as an input too?

Yes, but you must use the disconnect command first otherwise the PICAXE will freeze and reset if this pin goes high. This also means that the pin must be low when the PICAXE is powered up.

The pin is pinC.5.
