Brass? I missed that. Where does it say that?
Anyway, if you're on about the Mega one they don't need soldering - though belt and braces is good.
And, in any case, soldering brass is no probs.
So, nothing to fear.... except the cost :)

very nice find thier eclectic, that first one is great, shame about the price and the second one even better.
i shall have to keep an eye on the sellers store stock for when they get the smallest sizes back in as they show out of stock in the options :(

Multicore do a thru hole rivet kit, but for the life of me I cannot find any details, am sure it was through RS, worth a look through their website?

Copperset.

Looked a bit like the Mega kit mentioned earlier in #39.

But, has it gone the way of many products?

ExpressPCB versus design spark, design spark will win hands down, without even a fight. The ease and user friendliness with which one can create his/her own components in design spark is just astonishing to say the least whereas ExpressPCB or freePCB or DipTrance are mostly difficult to operate. Secondly and more importantly, we have picaxe component libraries available here which probably caps this discussion up and leaves us with one clear choice, its Design Spark if you're still wondering.
