Just got me a new copy of this book by David Lincoln.
This second edition has the M2 supplement.
The book is a good addition to the already exellent PICAXE documentation.

Plenty of example codes, but takes a lot of typing in the code.
I've found the link to the sample code at:

If you’re hunting for some PICAXE BASIC code to add to your stash of routines, this book might be worth flipping through. I grabbed it from my local library’s digital collection. The book itself isn’t amazing, but it's fun to see how other people approach coding on the PICAXE platform.

All the source files are available online—no login, no secret password, nothing.

Seems the link wasn't archived, so I forced a save in the Wayback Machine of the Internet Archive ...
;) Just in case the site disappears one day.

Accept the notion that "there's no such thing as a stupid question" only gaps in knowledge. @hippy

I also have the David Lincoln book, 2nd edition but I didn't find it useful. It was disappointing that the small M2 supplement was basically tacked at the end of the first edition. The 2nd edition should have been rewritten to integrate M2 information with the rest of the book, comparing the M2 and original parts and how the code differs.
