VB6 and PICAXE

It appears that Microsoft's Visual Basic 2010 Express Beta 2 doesn't include an option for automatically converting VB6 projects and that may be gone in the final release version also.

So anyone who's still using VB6 or has VB6 projects and wants to take advantage of auto-converting ( as best as it can - which often is very good ) may want to grab a copy of VB 2008 Express from the Microsoft site before that disappears and it becomes hard to find. You can convert VB6 to 2008, then ( hopefully ) 2008 to 2010.

Make sure you grab the 'offline install' rather than 'web install', then you'll have a CD/DVD to install from ...
