USB port interfacing

It has been a couple years since I played with the PICAXE, I have used search without luck trying to determine if I use a USB to 9 Pin RS-232 cable adapter. I now have a USB only computer.

I want to plug a USB adapter into my laptop and plug my PICAXE 9 pin programming cable into it.

Will it work ?

Some adapters don't work.

Welcome back - Providing the USB-to-9way is compatible with the Programming Editor / AXEpad, you have the right drivers installed, then it should work okay.
