Unable to simulate LCD operation in Logicator

Hi,

I am unable to simulate the LCD in Logicator when using Serout or Sertxd

The only way the LCD panel will display anything at all is by using the limited functionality of the LCD command.

Is this a bug in Logicator or can others see data in the simulated LCD panel when using Serout?

I attach my *.plf file for others to test.

It's not really a bug, but is by design, if you want to simulate the LCD then it is assumed that you wil use the LCD command. This is because Logicator is a 'simplified' front end interface for school students and so does not all available features of the PICAXE system.

What is it you are trying to do?

Thanks for the reply,

I was trying to replicate a progressbar using blocks on the bottom line.
The top line wasn't displaying.

I've sorted it now by increasing the wait times and it's working great on my AXE033

I just wish I hadn't wasted hours trying to simulate it in Logicator first!
