Hello, i'm currently using and i2c eeprom (24ls1025) but because i'm writing a file from a usb flash drive to the eeprom via a picaxe and VMUSIC2 it's just too slow. i like the look of these Ramtron FM24C256 and FM24C512, but i only need a few and Ramtron aren't responding to my emails for samples.

Where can i get them or something similar in the UK? i need at least 512Kb's.

Have a look at Farnell and see what they have in stock

I bought Ramtron F-RAM FM24C64's from them and they had a wider range but have not looked specifically what they have in larger sizes.

just had a look:
stock No 1210799 for 24C256 few in Aust and lot in UK

Nil stock of the 24C512
