Forum search

I for one found the westaust tutorial worthwhile.

possibly the forum managers could keep a copy at the top of the forum.

This effort gets my vote of appreciation and liewise hopefully many will read the tutorial.

Good example too. That was the very thread I failed to find to myself recently when the question was raised again. Thanks for putting in the effort to do this.

Please Add A Title To All Posts

One point that I did mention in the tutorial I prepared was for everyone to start putting a meaningful title not only for the start of the thread
but ALSO for each post they make.

In looking at many recent threads, there are no titles to the individual posts where members make suggestions and point out errors, etc.

Often threads gradually shift to a new topic and the original thread title is not relevant but the subsequent post content/topic may still be what another member is interested in at a later date.

If everyone could make sure that they do add a meaninful title to all but say the chit chat messages then it would make searchig using post titles easier.
