Will this kit AXE090 - Exper. Board work with the 14m chips?

Or do you have to buy the PICAXE-14M Project Board for that chip.

The Info I find on the AXE090 it will support all chips up to the
28-pin PICAXE microcontrollers

and the other info says that it supports 8, 18, 28.

Thanks

The latest version which has been on sale for the last few months (PCB Version 2A) does support the 14M chip - the 8 pin socket was replaced with a 14 pin socket and so this now supports both 8 and 14 pin chips.

The photos on the website are a bit out of date.

Chip sizes supported - 8, 14, 18, 28
Not supported - 20, 40

If I buy one from tech supplies now, will it support the 14M?

Their website just says 8,18 and 28.

(Sorry for replying to a really old thread)

A

Also, the datasheet says:

Computer Connection:
Only use the AXE026 PICAXE serial cable. For USB connection, the USB to serial
adapter (part USB010) is also required.

Can I use my AXE027?

It WILL work with the AXE027 cable.
If you get it from Tech Supplies, it will support the 14M.

Other suppliers may well have old stock so check first. This has been a problem with old firmware versions in the past.
