This will only occur if you are patching a lower version than the patch supports (5.0.0). Use the full install instead.

I have Programming Editor Version 5.1.2 (Syntax DLL 131072)

This was installed by first removing all previously installed (Editor &) patches.

Patches, by design, must be installed over previous versions / patches - if you remove previous patches you will remove other files not included in the latest patch! This keeps the latest patch as small as possible.

Start again with the full version of 5.1.3

Sorry for the confusion, but your first post says 5.1.3 and then you say you have 5.1.2, so we assumed you patched.

The full version 5.1.2 has all the files required, as does 5.1.3 full version. The reserved word files are not included in the patch as the reserved word files are the same in both versions. As it seems to be a local issue we recommend you just use the 5.1.3 full version to resolve the issue.

quote:
Patch 5.1.3 is now online to correct this, or if you have already downloaded 5.1.2 you can use this smaller single file download to manually overwrite 'progedit.exe'

As per your instructions to the letter.

Anyhow as soon as 5.1.3 shows up on your server I will down load another 33MB on dial-up. Not to worry, it’s all in good fun.
