PICAXE-40X2

I do some general electronics consultancy work for a company that sells electronics kits to schools in Australia.

One of the kits they sell is a Robot Arm with Controller. They recently used the last of their old Picaxe-40 chips and purchased replacements that are now Picaxe-40X2.

I did not design this kit and the person who did is no longer contactable.

I have designed a number of Picaxe projects in the past, but they were for Picaxe 08M2 and 14M2.

I was asked to program a number of chips for them. When I went to program them, I discovered the original program would no longer pass the syntax check. I discovered that the program no longer worked with the 40X2. I looked around to see how the coding had changed, made changes I thought would work, but without success. I tried using AI, again without success.

After spending a lot of time without success, I spoke to the owner of the business and suggested he advertise on this forum to have the program updated to suit the Picaxe-40X2. The new 40X2’s are PIC18F45K22 chips.

If you are interested contact me and I can send you the construction and programming notes and will also put you in contact with the owner, with who you can discuss remuneration for your services.

Thanks to everyone who responded. I have enough people who have applied. I'm sorry but there not be any further replies to new correspondence.
