pic basic to asm problem

Hi !
I have downloaded the PICAXE program and i wanted to make a project with it but the pic basic to assembler converter isn`t running. Error 53 file not found but it is in the directory.
my programdirectory is D:/PICAXE
can someone help me ?

I probably will not have the answer to your problem, however, should the directory read "D:\picaxe" ?

It may just be a typo but I have done this thing myself once, being too close to the problem, I couldn't see the problem for ages.

Have you tried reinstalling the software, preferably to the default directory?

Some programs are a bit fussy about the location of things...
