I saw that program and thought it would be neat to try with PICAXE, does the slime mould join two contacts when it pulses or does the circuit pickup the electrical signals it sends? Will be looking in the forest for some soon!

Thanks Eclectic, just watched it.
I think that it must be an ADC, rather than a binary slime. Probably nip along to a University Hall of Residence and suitable samples will be found neglected in a refrigerator somewhere
