Every month or so, the forums show no posts at all and the "show posts from the last N days" setting has to be adjusted to get anyting to appear. This is usually a hit-and-miss affair with sometimes "last 30 days" working, sometimes "last 10" needing to be selected. Is it possible to fix this so manual intervention isn't needed every month ?

Win 98SE + MS IE 6.02

Added : And at the moment, everytime I come back to the main Forum page having left for a while, it's marking every forum from 12 upwards as having New postings. Anyone know how to fix that ?

I've even deleted every Cookie in C:\WINDOWS\COOKIES and the related INDEX.DAT on my system, and this Forum still isn't working.

I'm going to scream soon. If it's any help, here's how my Cookie file looks at present ( plaintext password changed ) ...

When it has happened before I simply changed the period over which to show last posts and it has been fine, this time it is a complete nightmare. Nothing's changed with my PC setup.

Even with it on show posts from the last day, if I leave the forum for just a few minutes then come back it flags forums as having new posts when there aren't, the longer the period, the more forums get flagged.

I really don't want to have to take myself off to another forum elsewhere, but if it stays this way I don't see any alternative.

Is anyone else having this or similar problems ?

You may have to E-mail Rev Ed to get any action on this one. I don't think that Technical checks this forum everyday.

I wasn't going to mention it, as I (cough)
whine enough.
But it's driving me mad as well, and as I'm
getting thinner ontop I can't waste too much
hair,,~ ;o(
