LCD display power supply

Good morning

I am using 2 separate power supplies. Can I join both LCD and PICAXE board to one supply.

Provided they can operate at the same voltage (modern Picaxes work happily between 3.3V and 5V), then you can use one power supply (I always do). Include decoupling capacitors (100nF) close to the LCD as well as close to the Picaxe power pins, to minimise the chance of spikes causing problems.

Make sure you connect the 0v (ground) line between both the LCD, PICAXE module and the power supply. A common stumbling block.
