Keeping the Manuals within Prog Editor up to date

A tip for those who wish to keep their PICAXE manuals accessed through the Programming Editor current.

V5.2.0 and V5.2.1 are still using the manuals from months ago.
The forum links also still does not direct one to the latest manuals as at today.

If you go to the PICAXE / Rev Ed website
http://www.rev-ed.co.uk/picaxe/
then select datasheets and download the three manuals from there you get the very latest versions.
Paste a copy of these manuals into the PE directory, which is typically at:

C:\Program Files\Programming Editor\datasheets

Now when you use the Programming Editor Toolbar Help to access the 3 manuals you are reading the latest versions.

Thanks for the suggestion. On the Rev-ed download site, there seems to be a mismatch between the file labels, description, and pdf name as shown in the attachment. The pdf names match up to the correct documents.

IB , how did you get that?
If I do Download / All PICAXE Data Sheets they look fine.

Is it from another link or do you have one of those funny Browsers?

I got (and get) the file list shown by going to http://www.rev-ed.co.uk/picaxe/ , selecting "Datasheets" and "All Datasheets" and clicking down a page twice.
