Hi forum,
I am trying to interface a Maxim 6675 thermocouple digital amplifier with a 18X Datalogger in a simple way and without modifying the datalogger board.
From the 6675 datasheet It looks like i will need two 18X outputs and one input
I was thinking of using:
- outputs 1 and 5 (pins 7 and 11) which are connected to socket CT8
- input 2 (pin 1) from CT4.
I have a few questions which I hope someone will be able to answer:
- is this a correct setup? (in the Maxim datasheet schematic there is no pull up resistors like the ones for the pins 7 and 11 in the AXE board).
- what kind of connector connects to CT8 (in the AXE board) and where could I find it?
- are there possible alternative setups?
Thanks in advance
Riccardo
