FRM010 - what display configuration will it work with?

Could someone please confirm for me that the FRM010 LCD firmware chip works with a 20x4 & 20x2 line LCD display. It doesn't seem to mention it in the notes (unless I have missed it).

Yes, it has been discussed and confirmed before on the forum that 2 and 4 row LCD modules in the "sizes" you mention will work.

Tarzan has used with 20x4 displays. See

I struggled with interfacing an LCD but sorted it with the support of this forum. I used a 20 x 4 with the firmware chip. Going great. I dont yet know how to put a link to a thread in a post, but if you search for threads I started, you will even find a picture of it.
