AXE-020 to control lift

Hello,

I'm trying to control a lift (3 floors) with board AXE-020.
I have the problem with the outputs than controll motor. There I only have 0 (low) or 0,6V (high).
I've just changed the micro and de motor drive.
Could somebody help me?

Thank you.

Thread moved to active forum.

The outputs of the AXE020 are via a darlington driver.
As such, it can only sink (not source) current.
If you want logic level outputs, you can either:-
Replace the darlington driver with a DIL resistor pack,
or, fit a pull-up resistor (10k) between each output and 5v.

The reason the darlington driver is used is so that your load can be driven from voltage sources other than 5v, but the load must be connected between the source voltage and the darlington output, NOT between darlington output and 0v.

When you say "I'm trying to control a lift (3 floors) with board AXE-020."
Could you expand on that a little please?
Safety issues are the first things that spring to mind!

I assume it is a model lift.
- Motor size? Type? Voltage? Current?
- Floor sensing: Switches? Magnetics? IR?

What other sensors and outputs are there?

This should be possible (presuming it's a model) - we just need a little more info.
