Automatic LED brightness control?

Thank you for the reply. I do have the op-amp in my shopping cart already, and I thank you for explaining more about why I need it. I am hard headed, and dumb too, but I'm not stupid....I do listen to people that try to help me...and I really appreciate it too :)

It's all obvious once you KNOW.
The way to KNOW is to try and then fail. The leasons learned from the failure are what you KNOW next time. Then you have experience. Nothing wrong with being hard headed. It makes the learning even more solid.
