Amplifer PWM 0V/ 5V to -5V/ +5V

Good morning from Italy Sirs,

Sorry, I've a question:

I have my PICAXE's PWM from 0 volts to 5 volts, but I need to convert this signal in one signal from -5 to +5 volts due to control a motor movement.

in manner that 0volts out from PWM will be the -5 volts and proportionally, the 5 volts from PWM will be the + 5 volts.

How I can do?! Help please!!!:(

NOTE: the -5/+5volts can be even a -10/+10Volts

Many thanks

Big kiss from Italy!!!!

This will be a three-step operation ...

1) You will need to convert the PWM into a voltage. This is usually done with an RC ( resistor-capacitor ) circuit.

2) You will need to take the 0V/5V signal from the RC into an op-amp and subtract 2V5 from it so it gives -2V5/+2V5 output

3) You then take that into an op-amp to increase the -2V5/+2V5 to -5V/+5V or -10V/+10V.

You should be able to do both steps (2) and (3) using a single op-amp.

Best wait for a schematic.

It may be a digital thing and talking of analogues may possibley confuse things.
It may be an H-bridge thing and something has got lost in translation.

Gibbo, a drawing/diagram of the circuit and description of the motor and any components would be very helpful.

I bet this is an H-Bridge thing as motors have been mentioned.

Please clarify.
Do you wish to drive a motor forward and reverse?
Do you have anything at all by way of a circuit?

Sorry gents, but I was out for works, and I can really reply only now!
Sorryyyyyy!!!!!:(

thank You very much for your very interesting replies.

Anyway, thanks for the sugget about LM139.

I will check and revert soon.
