I find a PICDEM Z 2.4G RF module (AC163028) in microchip.com is just $19. Is it possible to use it in PICAXE? It seems that it is difficult to do, something like ZigBee stack. Any one can share the source code here?

That seems to be Microchip's equivalent to XBee, using SPI rather than serial.

It may be possible to connect to a PICAXE but unless anyone's already done that I doubt there will be any readily available source code. What's done by the module and what needs to be done by the PICAXE, and whether possible, would require reading and studying datasheets. The module datasheet doesn't even say what the module expects to receive or gives out, what level of protocol it supports ( not in any meaningful way to me anyway ).
