Touch screen to picaxe

I have recently bought a 4 wire touch screen to add to my picaxe but found that the output was a vlotage between 1.71 volts and 1.80 volts and I needed a output between 0 volts and +5 volts for it to work with the picaxe system.

Does any one have any ideas on how to get this touch screen to work with the picaxe system???

Can you post a link for the screen datasheet please?

If you click on downloads you get a data sheet but i found it of little use.


I belive the surplier was http://www.hantouchusa.com but i'm not sure of the model etc

Follow the link in Post #2 and onwards and you'll find an implementation for reading a four wire touchscreen. Part of the trick is in isolating the 'X pot' from the 'Y pot' to read one at a time or analogue readings will likely be within tight boundaries.
