Hello PICAXE world

Here is ready PICAXE-project for teachers and people of interest. You can use it freely in education but if you start manufacturing it please contact the makers.
This project was made for math teachers to test different ways to teach programming in math. We have this hope that if math- and technology teachers have more "united" material base there would be gains for all.
We tought to give our own contribution to the PICAXE community. We are active readers.

Notes of construction:
-In front of the sumo there is Ultrasound probe and Sharp ADC-distance unit GP2D12.
-Both sides have also one GP2D12 distance units.
-PICAXE 40X1 is brain.
-Motors are 12V 100:1 motors and tyres are standard RC-rounds with hexagonal attachment. Made own brass fitting to mount them.

-L298N Controls motors.
-LiPo battery has its own 08M controlling its charge level. When level is low it resets 40x1 (robot stops), blinks leds and uses pietzo. One battery last some 2hours with one load and constant drive.
-Hole frame is made from double sided PCB-board. Boards aer "welded" together with standard tin used in electronics.
-Front plate names come from our own folk mythology Kalevala.
-74HC14, 10K plus ir-led and phototransistor control white/black transition.

Btw. Is PICAXE in educational use in other EU-countires than England and Finnland? Little more contact countiers and we could try to make educational program using EU-money. Any interested teachers?
