Yes, I now this has been raised many times. I can download to an 08 on the breadboard. I previously could send to a 14M and an 08M OK Now I am getting the error. I changed the PS to battery pack but it made no difference. I have other chips that respond with No Hardware found. Is it an irrecoverable H/W fault in the chip?

Verification errors are usually a result of poor or weak power supplies but can be caused by other issues.

It is hard to say what the issue may be without further details. It could just be that the circuit is not correct on the breadboard. The "no hardware found" issues may be a result of needing a Hard Reset procedure and unrelated.
